Cam Edwards rushed for 165 yards and scored two touchdowns, finishing with 1,031 rushing yards for the season. UConn scored on its first possession of each half, taking a 6-0 first-quarter lead on Joe Fagnano's 10-yard run and a 9-7 halftime lead after Chris Freeman's 47-yard field goal. The Huskies opened the second half with a six-play, 79-yard drive capped by Edwards' 8-yard touchdown run. Freeman added a 27-yard field goal in the fourth, and Edwards had a 5-yard touchdown run late, making it 26-10. Air Force's Dylan Carson rushed for two touchdowns; Owen Allen had 123 rushing yards. UConn finished the home season 6-0 and 12-1 at home over two seasons.
