"Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield took a swipe at new Atlanta Falcons coach Kevin Stefanski in a social media post Tuesday night. Stefanski was Mayfield's coach with the Cleveland Browns from 2018 to 2021. Mayfield wrote that he was "Still waiting on a text/call" from Stefanski after the Browns "shipped" him off "like a piece of garbage." "Can't wait to see you twice a year, Coach," Mayfield added."
"He joined the company in 2019 and was a top combat sports reporter. He also covered professional wrestling and wrote the book "Say Hello to the Bad Guys: How Pro Wrestling's New World Order Changed America," which was published by Simon & Schuster in 2025. Raimondi also worked for the New York Post and Newsday, beginning in 2009, covering high school and college sports, plus the NFL, NFL, MLB and NHL."
Baker Mayfield publicly criticized Kevin Stefanski on social media, writing that he was 'still waiting on a text/call' after the Browns 'shipped' him off 'like a piece of garbage' and adding he looks forward to seeing Stefanski twice yearly. Stefanski served as Mayfield's coach with the Cleveland Browns from 2018 to 2021. Mayfield objected to a reporter's characterization that he had 'failed' in Cleveland. Mayfield helped lead the Browns to the playoffs in 2020 but had an up-and-down tenure. The Browns traded for Deshaun Watson in 2022, prompting Mayfield to request a trade and land in Carolina, then briefly with the Rams.
