Brother of LA Rams star arrested in alleged theft of Lakers player's BMW
"Two men, including the brother of Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, were arrested over the weekend on suspicion of taking a vehicle belonging to Los Angeles Lakers forward Adou Thiero without consent, according to the Los Angeles county sheriff's department. Authorities said deputies were able to track the vehicle a newer-model BMW to the One Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood."
"Investigators determined the suspects had valeted the car and entered the hotel, where they were later identified using security footage and arrested. The men were identified as Samson Nacua, 27, a professional football player who has spent time in the United Football League, and Trey Rose, also 27. Both were arrested Saturday afternoon on suspicion of unlawfully taking a vehicle."
Two men were arrested on suspicion of unlawfully taking a vehicle belonging to Lakers forward Adou Thiero. Deputies tracked the BMW to the One Hotel in West Hollywood. Investigators determined the suspects had valeted the car, entered the hotel, and were later identified on security footage. The suspects were identified as Samson Nacua, 27, and Trey Rose, 27. Both were arrested Saturday and released later that night under California Penal Code Section 849(b) due to insufficient grounds to file a complaint. The investigation remains ongoing. Samson Nacua previously played at Utah and BYU and received a one-game UFL suspension earlier this year. His younger brother Puka Nacua recently criticized NFL referees during a livestream.
