Boston College's 'Red Bandana' uniforms, UCF's 'Space Game' look leads Week 11 CFB threads

"This year will be "Mission IX" of the Golden Knights' Space Game, referencing this year's edition of the game in the events chronology. The threads and game pay homage to the school's tradition in outer space research, both past and present. UCF's faculty and students have worked on over 700 NASA projects since the university's founding in 1963, according to the school."

Boston College wears a Red Bandana alternate uniform each season that honors alum Welles Crowther, credited with saving several lives during the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks while wearing a red bandana. The uniforms feature bandana patterns on the jersey sleeves and center logo and on both sides of the helmet. "FOR WELLES" replaces player surnames on the back nameplate, with an American flag emblem stitched between the nameplate and the collars. UCF will wear its 2025 "Space Game" uniforms for Mission IX, celebrating the university's history in outer space research and its work on over 700 NASA projects. The UCF design includes electric blue numbers, a matching helmet stripe, Mission IX name plates and "SPACE U" branding.
