""It felt like we were in a movie," Harbaugh said. "It's like you get to the point where you go, 'OK, this is getting a little unrealistic.'""
""There are so many guys in that locker room that are fighting through so many different injuries and things worse than what I'm going through," Herbert said. "So it's the least I can do to show up and give my best effort for them.""
One week after surgery for a fractured left hand, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert played and rushed for a team-high 66 yards on 10 carries in a 22-19 overtime win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Herbert completed 39 passing yards on a 46 percent completion rate, but his scrambling produced three first downs in the game and 18 for the season, the most of his career and fourth-most in the NFL. Coach Jim Harbaugh called his effort "superhero" level. The fracture occurred when Raiders safety Jeremy Chinn's helmet contacted Herbert's hand; Herbert said he knew he would play since the previous Sunday.
