Bernie Kosar will be discharged from the hospital one week after receiving a liver transplant, after being on the waiting list for more than a year. He received the transplant from 21-year-old Browns fan Bryce Dunlap, who suffered a medical emergency and died. Kosar expressed gratitude for the donor and their family and said he will not take the gift for granted. He initially was scheduled to be discharged next month but is leaving early to watch Monday Night Football and to celebrate his 62nd birthday. Kosar previously was diagnosed with cirrhosis and Parkinson's disease and played for the Browns and other NFL teams.
