""I thought it was just a lot of talk, honestly," Jennings said. "I think they wanted some attention.""
""He said some things, so why he ain't saying what he said?" Jennings said. "I do know it ain't that bad. That's what I do know. I'm going to just keep it to myself of what I said, but I know it wasn't that bad and he knows that. It's funny. "If he sees me to smack me, maybe I'll find out that day.""
""I'm surprised nobody punched him in the jaw yet.""
Jauan Jennings said his trash talk during the Nov. 30 win over the Cleveland Browns was largely talk and not as out of bounds as Cleveland players claimed. Multiple Browns players said Jennings crossed a line after the 26-8 victory, and defensive lineman Shelby Harris said, "I'm surprised nobody punched him in the jaw yet." Jennings declined to repeat what he said, insisted it "wasn't that bad," and suggested the opposing player knew that. He added that if an opponent tries to hit him he might learn the outcome that day. The comments came as the 49ers returned from a bye week and prepared for a game against the Tennessee Titans. Jennings has repeatedly drawn opponents' ire for physical play and trash talk.
