The Patriots defense dominated, allowing three points, zero touchdowns, producing 30 pressures, six sacks, and limiting the Chargers to 207 total yards and 1-for-10 on third downs. Three defensive players delivered some of the best performances of their tenures and strengthened their case for new contracts. K'Lavon Chaisson arrived on a one-year prove-it deal, became a starter, and produced a career-best season that merits consideration for long-term retention.
