Cherif Millogo stands 7-foot-3 with a 7-9 wingspan and wears size 17 shoes. He grew up in Burkina Faso and was a soccer player until a growth spurt led him to basketball after being spotted playing in Togo. He moved to Florida two years ago and missed last season at Cambridge Arts, Technology and Science Academy while recovering from a torn knee ligament. He learned to shoot by watching Kevin Durant videos on YouTube and speaks French, English and two tribal languages. He turned 18 on Sept. 27 and has two years of high school eligibility. Former UCLA and NBA player Luc Richard Mbah a Moute serves as his guardian, and St. Francis embraced him for his friendly personality and strong values.
