Jaxson Hayes and Carter Bryant accepted invitations to the NBA Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star weekend in Los Angeles. Hayes is a 7-foot center who recently executed a between-the-legs dunk in a win over the Bulls. Bryant is a 6-foot-6 rookie and the 14th overall pick in last year's NBA draft. He is averaging 2.5 points in 35 games with the Spurs this season. Mac McClung, a three-time consecutive Dunk Contest winner, will not participate this season. All-Star weekend runs Feb. 13-15 at the Intuit Dome, and the Dunk Contest will take place on Feb. 14.
