With 4:26 left in the game, Sabally's head slammed into a Las Vegas Aces defender's knee as she fell to the floor chasing the rebound. She remained on the ground for an extended period of time before attempting to get up. Appearing unsteady on her feet, Sabally was helped back to the floor before eventually being assisted back to the locker room by a teammate and Mercury staffer."

Sabally, who is under a multi-year deal with Unrivaled, was slated to play for Phantom BC when the league's second season tips off in January. In Unrivaled's inaugural season, Sabally averaged 15.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists with Phantom, which finished last in the league standings (4-10)."

The concussion occurred on Oct. 8 when Sabally's head struck a defender's knee while chasing a rebound, leaving her unsteady and assisted to the locker room. Sabally missed Game 4 as the Las Vegas Aces swept the Phoenix Mercury to win the title. Sabally is under a multi-year Unrivaled contract and had been slated to play for Phantom BC. Unrivaled will re-evaluate her status later and signed Tiffany Hayes as her replacement for now.
