Austin Reaves scored a career-high 51 points, added 11 rebounds and 9 assists as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Sacramento Kings 127-120 in Sacramento. Reaves celebrated with a water-bottle shower, marking the second major celebration of his NBA career after a rookie-season, buzzer-beating 3-pointer in Dallas. LeBron James and Luka Doncic were unavailable for the game; Doncic was ruled out with a left finger sprain and a left lower-leg contusion and will be reevaluated in about a week. Doncic texted Reaves urging him to score 60, and teammate Jarred Vanderbilt had told Reaves they would need 50. Vanderbilt contributed 9 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals off the bench.
