He made his first high school basket since middle school and drew substantial recruiting attention after summer performances, picking up about 10 scholarship offers. Harris is the younger brother of former Windward standout JJ Harris, a Loyola Marymount commit, and he said he felt well and expects to be 100% later this season. Other results included Andrew Valdovinos hitting eight 3s for Santa Paula (24 points), Isaac Yuhico 36 for Canyon, Aaron Krueger 24 for Chatsworth, Kawika Suter 23 and 13 rebounds for Rolling Hills Prep, Mattai Carter 17 for Loyola, Phillip Green 24 and 12 for Palisades, and Sage Hill routing Harvard-Westlake with Amalia Holguin and Kamdyn Klamberg contributing.
