"An employee at the Kia Center, home of the Orlando Magic, has blamed Ghost for cursing the team, which has gone winless since the Swedish band played the arena earlier this month. The show was the launch of Ghost's tour and proved to be a lavish, theatrical performance - as captured in this photo gallery. But one Kia Center employee believes the band put a hex on the team. Get Ghost Tickets Here In a since deleted post on Reddit (preserved via The Noise's Instagram post below) titled "Kia Center Needs Holy Water" after the Magic were drubbed by the Charlotte Hornets 124-97, the employee posted:"
""So I work at Kia. The night before we got blown out by Charlotte there was a concert there by this rock band called Ghost & I'm not even exaggerating super satanic vibes." Clearly not amused by the occult dabblings of Tobias Forge and company, the employee described the show as having "devil imagery, stained-glass church setup, chanting 'Lucifer,' all types of weird shit I'm not into at all," adding: "I was mad as hell I was forced to sit through that lol." The employee continued: "So my theory is that whatever energy they left in the building carried over into the game because there's no other explanation for how bad we looked. Is this a valid excuse or are we just inconsistent af?""
A Kia Center employee claimed Ghost cursed the Orlando Magic after the Swedish band's concert, describing "super satanic vibes." The employee reported devil imagery, a stained-glass church setup and chanting of "Lucifer," and posted on Reddit under the title "Kia Center Needs Holy Water" following a 124-97 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. The Magic subsequently lost two more games to the Cleveland Cavaliers by double digits. An alternative explanation is extended jet lag from recent NBA games in Berlin and London. Ghost canceled some shows due to a multi-state winter storm and will continue tour dates at other venues.
