Nuggets hopeful Braun, Gordon back vs. Nets
"The Denver Nuggets are hopeful both Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon will return to the court for Sunday afternoon's road game against the Nets after lengthy injury absences, according to coach David Adelman. Braun has missed 23 games due to an ankle injury while Gordon has missed 19 straight games due to a hamstring strain. They were upgraded to questionable to play on Saturday's injury report but an official decision will be made after pregame warm ups."
"Braun and Gordon's potential return is a welcome sight for a Nuggets team that has been ravaged by injuries this season. Denver had been playing without four starters and will continue to be down superstar center Nikola Jokic, starting forward Cameron Johnson and reserve big man Jonas Valanciunas for multiple weeks. The Nuggets will be facing former longtime teammate Michael Porter Jr. in Sunday's matchup in Brooklyn."
