Drake Powell was sidelined against the Toronto Raptors with a right ankle sprain, the third injury to that ankle this season. The rookie exited Thursday's loss to Miami early after a collision, was helped off the floor and did not return. He missed most of the offseason with left knee tendinopathy and missed six games earlier this year. Powell has averaged 6.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 19 appearances while shooting 48.8% overall and 37.8% from three. Head coach Jordi Fernández said he is "not concerned" and expects Powell to "be back soon." The Nets recalled rookie Nolan Traore from their G League affiliate to provide depth.
