Missing the Valkyries? Stars will be playing in Unrivaled league
"Good news for Golden State Valkyries fans: You won't have to wait too long to see some of your favorites back in action. So far Veronica Burton, Kate Martin and Monique Billings have been selected to play in the 3-on-3 women's basketball league Unrivaled and more of their teammates could join them. The league created by the Minnesota Lynx's Napheesa Collier and New York Liberty's Breanna Stewart had a successful inaugural eight-week season that ended in March."
"So far about half of the 54 players on the eight teams for the 2026 season have been announced. This means we could see more Valkyries players added to rosters including, Tiffany Hayes, who played in season one. In season two we could also see the return of Stanford star and Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink, who was selected in the inaugural year, but could not play due to injury. Brink's former Stanford teammate Kiki Iriafen has already been named to the league."
