"S---, I mean, they made a bunch of 3s. We didn't make many ... Tonight was just one of those cases where you didn't make shots."
"Had 50 potential assists tonight, we converted on 21 of those,"
"This has been the theme. It has been the theme. So, we just got to keep shooting, I guess."
"We don't look at any game as a walkover,"
Los Angeles fell 124-112 to Sacramento after allowing 17-of-26 three-pointers (65.4%), the worst rate allowed in franchise history when defending at least 25 attempts. DeMar DeRozan scored 32 points on 14-of-19 shooting, all two-point field goals. Malik Monk (26 points, 7-of-9 from three) and Russell Westbrook (22 points, 4-of-8 from three) provided much of Sacramento's long-range shooting. The Lakers made only 8-of-36 threes, with Bronny James hitting two late attempts. Coach JJ Redick cited low assist conversion—21 of about 50 potential assists—and the loss dropped Los Angeles to 23-14.
