Morant responded angrily to questions, telling reporters to "Go ask the coaching staff" and saying "according to them, probably don't play me," after a locker-room exchange. The team suspended Morant one game for conduct detrimental to the team after a confrontation in which coach Tuomas Iisalo criticized Morant's leadership and effort and Morant reacted dismissively. Morant sat out one game, returned, and gave terse, sullen answers to reporters.
