"I thought [Kasparas Jakucionis] gave us a good boost. We're down guys right now. Kas gives us the energy, the competitiveness. He makes things happen. He's gotten a lot better, a lot more comfortable in what we want to do. I thought those minutes were good."
"I feel good. The most important (thing) is that we won after (the) losing streak of quite a lot of games. That was the most important for today, we all focused for the win tonight. I'm trying to be ready always, do what I can do and control what I can control."
"Former #Illini Kasparas Jakucionis knocks down a corner three for his first NBA points! He was dealing with an injury for much of the year so didn't debut until December - hoping to see much more of this in the future ๐ฅ pic.twitter.com/c1eQ4k0gnw- ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐ (@TheConnorPils) December 19, 2025"
Kasparas Jakucionis received extended minutes for the Miami Heat after injuries to Tyler Herro, Pelle Larsson and Nikola Jovic. He played eight minutes, made his only shot attemptโa corner three off a Simone Fontecchio kick-outโand recorded one assist while playing within the offense. Head coach Erik Spoelstra praised Jakucionis for energy, competitiveness and growing comfort in the system. Jakucionis said he felt good, prioritized the team win and emphasized staying ready and controlling what he can. He gambled once for a steal that led to a Nets wing three, otherwise defending well at the point of attack.
