In many ways, it would be a huge answer to what Bam has long awaited throughout his young career.
Since breaking into a starting role for the Heat, Bam has not had the luxury of playing alongside a playmaking guard as talented as Young and Morant are. Bam has had to learn to get by with good, but not great, playmakers in the backcourt, often needing to step up in his own right as a primary ball-handler. Trading for a playmaking superstar like Young or Morant would help accomplish two things. The Heat may be limiting Bam's greatness.
