Donovan Mitchell scored a season-high 46 points on 15-of-21 shooting in 35 minutes, adding eight assists and four rebounds in a 132-121 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. He made 54.5% of his three-point attempts and was a perfect 10-of-10 from the free-throw line. The performance was his 20th 40-point game with the Cavaliers, second in franchise history behind LeBron James. Mitchell shot 71.4% from the field, tying a franchise mark for highest percentage in a 45-point game. Mitchell said trash talk during an NBA2K matchup earlier in the day motivated his scoring outburst.
