Ja Morant, a two-time All-Star guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, will remain sidelined for at least two additional weeks while recovering from a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow. Follow-up imaging revealed incomplete healing of the injury, despite the player's progression in rehabilitation. Morant continues to experience discomfort and will undergo re-evaluation in two weeks. He has not played since sustaining the injury on January 21. This season, Morant appeared in 20 games, averaging 19.5 points and 8.1 assists per game.
