Greece defeated Finland 92-89 to capture the EuroBasket bronze medal, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo's 30 points and 17 rebounds. The result marked Greece's first EuroBasket medal since 2009 and its sixth overall podium finish. Lauri Markkanen paced Finland with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Greece never trailed and built leads of 17 points and later 11 with under two minutes remaining before a Finnish rally. Elias Valtonen missed a potential tying free throw with five seconds left, Antetokounmpo secured the rebound and closed the game with two free throws. Greece lost to Turkey in the semifinals; Finland lost to Germany.
