Syracuse opened the second overtime on an 8-2 run and converted clutch layups and free throws down the stretch. Cal's Dai Dai Ames scored 23 points while John Camden added 21. Milos Ilic had a buzzer putback to force the first overtime. The game at JMA Wireless Dome used a generator following a power loss.
