Zayo Agrees to Acquire Crown Castle's Fiber Solutions

Zayo has announced its acquisition of Crown Castle's Fiber Solutions valued at $4.25 billion, spurred by the need for advanced network infrastructure amid the rise of AI and cloud computing. This acquisition will extend Zayo's reach by adding around 90,000 route miles and over 70,000 on-net locations. Alongside this deal, EQT will separately acquire Crown Castle's small cell business, contributing to a total transaction value of $8.5 billion. These strategic moves aim to bolster Zayo's capacity to support the growing demands of the data-driven market.
