Copenhagen startup Alice.Tech has successfully raised $4.8 million to enhance its AI-driven personalized learning platform, which transforms generic study materials into tailored content for students. Founded in 2024 and part of Y Combinator, Alice.Tech aims to revolutionize exam preparation similar to Duolingo's impact on language learning. The platform adapts to individual learning styles, offering customized study plans and social collaboration features. With their new funding from major investors like Cherry Ventures, the startup plans to focus on product development and expand its reach among educational institutions.
"We do what Duolingo did for language learning, but for university or high school exams," Kim Rants, the startup's cofounder and CEO, told Business Insider.
"The most challenged students get left behind; I could see how much students struggled with exams, because the learning wasn't tailored to their needs," he explained.
