Beginning this spring, McNally Jackson bookstore in New York will host a biannual festival focused on discussions around archives, historiography, and legacies. Spanning from May 7 to June, it will include a variety of events, such as talks and a unique phone-free closing party featuring a 'secret lineup'. The festival aims to facilitate broader dialogues by incorporating not only authors but also experts from other fields, extending beyond traditional book launches and enhancing engagement with literary culture.
We want to give people more access to high-level intellectual conversations in the city, bridging poets and memoirists with architects and historians.
This festival represents a conscious shift from typical book launches to a broader exploration of cultural dialogues that extend beyond just the release cycle.
