Jim VandeHei, founder of Axios, cautioned that Elon Musk's connection with the Trump administration could lead to future profits, despite his recent bureaucratic struggles. Musk's attempt to implement a significant $2 trillion cost-cutting initiative fell short, achieving only $160 billion in cuts and minor workforce reductions. VandeHei acknowledged Musk's limitations in this endeavor but emphasized his long-term perspective, suggesting that Musk's access to governmental operations and relationships will likely translate into future opportunities for his companies.
I mean, the bureaucracy is undefeated, for sure, and it defeated Musk in this task. That said, you got to understand Elon in that he takes the long view.

When you take the long view, you've got to keep your eye on that prize, he added. Watch above via MSNBC.
