Colin Jost tries to sell his Staten Island ferry in 'SNL' sketch after calling vessel his 'dumbest' purchase ever
Briefly

Colin Jost made a comedic appearance on 'Saturday Night Live,' where he sought buyers for his decommissioned Staten Island ferry, purchased with Pete Davidson in 2022. In a sketch, he humorously urged characters to buy the ferry, dubbed a silly investment he made while very stoned for $280,000. Despite calling it a poor decision, he justified it by highlighting its size in terms of real estate value. The duo plans to transform the ferry into an entertainment venue, having already rented it for a film.
"Hey, you said you love ferries? If you love ferries, would you like to buy one?" Jost, who was playing himself, shouted with his hands pressed against the window.
"It is absolutely the dumbest and least thought-through purchase I've ever made in my life," Jost told People in September.
