Volunteers for Zohran Mamdani's mayoral campaign will resume canvassing to bolster his support for the general election. After a seven-week break following a strong victory in the primary, Mamdani's campaign is preparing for a new phase. A gathering in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, will unite volunteers to reconnect and discuss the campaign's future. The team is focused on expanding their outreach, particularly to voters who did not support Mamdani in the primary. Grassroots support remains crucial for demonstrating a strong mandate during the upcoming election.
We hope you all had a wonderful break from canvassing and have gotten a chance to soak up this win. Come hang with your fellow volunteers and campaign staff and pick up your Zetro card posters.
We don't just want him to win the general election by two or three points. We want him to win in a way where he shows that he has a mandate to accomplish his agenda.
Mamdani's grassroots support differentiates his campaign from competitors. I don't think Andrew Cuomo, Eric Adams or the billionaires who support them.
The campaign is counting on the volunteers to pitch Mamdani's policies to improve affordability in the city to voters he failed to win in the primary.
