A subway conductor was assaulted in Midtown Manhattan when a man sucker-punched him while the train was stopped at 42nd Street-Grand Central Station. The attack occurred at 7:45 p.m. on a Thursday, with police reporting that the conductor was looking out from the train's window at the time. Fortunately, medics transported the conductor to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center where he was reported in stable condition. The NYC Police Department is investigating the incident, with no arrests made as they seek the public's help in identifying the suspect, a man in his mid-30s.
