Bloomberg praised Lasher's experience, highlighting his role in securing fair funding from Albany and advancing gun safety initiatives during his tenure in City Hall. Bloomberg, worth $109 billion, is willing to spend up to $5 million supporting Lasher's campaign. The primary election is scheduled for June 23, with Lasher's campaign holding over $1.1 million in funds as of year-end.
