The Staten Island Zoo proudly unveiled a creative banner artwork designed by students from PS 25 South Richmond High School Seaview Academy. The students, guided by teacher Noreen Cameron, painted different sections to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and animal care. At the unveiling ceremony, zoo executive director Ken Mitchell expressed gratitude towards the students, presenting a Certificate of Appreciation for their effort. The finished banner artwork is now displayed at the Zoo Pavilion, symbolizing the valued partnership between the school and the zoo in promoting animal welfare.
We are grateful to the school and students of PS 25 for their ongoing support and beautiful artwork. It is very clear that PS 25 and these students care about the well-being of our animals and love our zoo.
The students painted each section of the banner to highlight a different animal in an effort to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and proper care.
