Seacrest Studios, founded by Ryan Seacrest over two decades ago, aims to support young patients in hospitals by providing a creative space for entertainment. Seacrest was inspired by conversations with parents about distractions for their children during treatment. The initiative offers broadcasting opportunities where children can perform, produce, and create media content, allowing them to feel like stars and share their talents with others. Now with 13 studios across hospitals in various locations, the foundation continues to expand, focusing on inspiring and empowering pediatric patients through creative expression.
"What if we could create a safe space, a no-poke zone that was the entertainment center and capital of these hospitals," he said, reflecting on how the idea formed.
"I hope that they tap into their talent, their ambition. I hope they realize that what they're going through is just part of their life, that that is not what they are defined by," Seacrest said.
