Bay Ridge Academy's upper grades present 'Finding Nemo Jr.'
Briefly

Bay Ridge Catholic Academy held a successful performance of the spring musical "Finding Nemo Jr." featuring students from the 5th to 8th grades. Directed by music teacher Jessica Bailey, the show included characters like sharks, jellyfish, and turtles. Scheduled from May 15 to May 17, the three performances attracted 775 attendees. Principal Paul Morisi highlighted the students' extensive rehearsals and the support from parent and teacher volunteers, reflecting on the themes of love, courage, perseverance, hope, and friendship that resonate within the musical's storyline.
"The students from 5th to 8th grade spent months rehearsing, memorizing lines, and practicing choreography to put on this production. This was made possible by the leadership of Ms. Bailey, our very own music teacher, and all of the parent and teacher volunteers who support this effort."
"Finding Nemo Jr." is an adaptation of the 2003 movie, about a clownfish and his son Nemo, who wants to explore beyond their abode in the Great Barrier Reef.
