When Will Brooklyn Mirage Finally Open?
Briefly

The Brooklyn Mirage, known for its vibrant events, has faced recent turmoil as a third round of shows was canceled due to a failed safety inspection. Prominent artists including Peggy Gou and The Martinez Brothers were affected, causing a scramble for alternative venues. CEO Josh Wyatt, who promised transparency, has been notably silent since the cancellations, leaving artists and fans in the dark. This lack of communication has sparked frustration among attendees, who rely on indirect sources for updates about their cancelled events.
"The Mirage isn't saying anything," said Cameron Bell, who had tickets to see The Martinez Brothers at the venue on Friday, May 16. "They're not giving any updates. The only info I see is from the artists. It's weird. Communication is off."
What began with daily dispatches on the progress of construction from Wyatt has turned into virtual radio silence.
Mirage CEO Josh Wyatt, hired in October to rebrand and revamp Avant Gardner, pledged to be "forcefully transparent" in this new chapter for the beleaguered company.
Rather than updating fans of the changes as they had for the previous two cancelled weekends, the Mirage made no official statement, relying on brands, DJs, and ticketing apps to get the news out.
