TBA Brooklyn, a pivotal venue in the evolution of nightlife in Brooklyn, is set to close after a successful run of over a decade. Known for its intimate atmosphere and high-quality sound, TBA opened its doors in 2013, during a time when Manhattan nightlife was dominant, yet it quickly became a launching pad for notable DJs. With its closure scheduled for March 15, the venue is leaving behind a legacy that contributed significantly to shaping the music scene and gave many artists a platform to showcase their talents and cultivate a community.
It engraved integrity in me and many other DJs. It gave artists purpose playing at TBA and Output because history was being made without you even noticing.
Twelve years ago, there weren't any clubs in Brooklyn. Williamsburg had a lot of troubles. It was a risk to open a venue back then.
