The best, worst and megachurch-iest of Stagecoach Day 2
Briefly

The Stagecoach country music festival is currently underway in Indio, California, featuring headliners like Jelly Roll. During his performance, Jelly Roll reflected on his journey, emphasizing spirituality and redemption through music. He engaged the audience with heartfelt renditions of his songs that narrate his struggles and triumphs. The stage design, resembling a gas station, symbolized a sanctuary of sorts. Additionally, his set included collaborations with other artists, revealing his roots in hip-hop while showcasing new music. The mix of faith and entertainment created a memorable and impactful experience for attendees at the festival.
This is officially the biggest show I've ever headlined in my career. I never would have dreamed that God would've brought a boy from Tennessee to the desert of Southern California to lead us in church service on a Saturday night to heal the broken through the power of music.
The stage set resembled a gas station with a neon sign assuring us that Jesus saves - an oasis in the desert, in other words.
Jelly Roll made time for some more earthly pleasures: cameos from BigXthaPlug and Wiz Khalifa that reminded you of his hip-hop roots.
He also brought out Alex Warren to sing his gloopy ballad 'Ordinary' and to premiere a new duet between the two of them called 'Oh My Brother.'
