Summer in Saratoga means it's time for community events
""It's my favorite part of the program because history is worth retelling so children can learn in a fun way," said Holly Fidrych."
""We are creating a vibe that we hope will spur on more investment by businesses in the village," said Saratoga Chamber President Jim Cargill."
On July 4th, a classic Independence Day celebration will take place at Kevin Moran Park, Saratoga, featuring the 100-piece McCartysville Band and a history retelling led by Holly Fidrych. The event includes a children's parade, free flags, popsicles, and concludes with a traditional march by the band. Community engagement continues with the return of Summer Outdoor Movie Nights, starting with The Barbie Movie on July 11. Moreover, a new First Thursday event kicks off on July 3, promoting local merchants and creating a vibrant downtown atmosphere.
