Morris Day denied headlining the Freedom 250 concert on the National Mall after the lineup announcement. His social media statement said Morris Day and the Time would not be performing at the Great American State Fair. The first wave of performers for the event includes Vanilla Ice, Flo Rida, Milli Vanilli, Bret Michaels, Martina McBride, and Young MC. Organizers said the Great American State Fair and Freedom 250 are nonpartisan events. The events are planned to include “MAHA Mondays.”
