
"Powerhouse International, the new fall performing arts festival from Brooklyn's Powerhouse Arts, is underway now, and Tuesday brought Moor Mother and Pussy Riot to the space for performances in the round. The evening began with a conversation between Pussy Riot's Nadya Tolokonnikova and Laurie Anderson, and next Moor Mother took the stage with for the live debut of her Translations Quintet, featuring Patrick Shiroishi, Diego Gaeta and Mekala Session (also 2/3 of Human Error Club), and V.C.R. (VtheMartian aka Veronica Camille Ratliff)."

Moor Mother made the live debut of the Translations Quintet featuring Patrick Shiroishi, Diego Gaeta, Mekala Session (2/3 of Human Error Club), and V.C.R. Tolokonnikova followed with a solo set before Pussy Riot performed. The festival continues this month with a performance of Red Hot's 2024 compilation TRAИƧA on Saturday (12/6), and tickets are on sale.
