Godsmack's Sully Erna Talks Live Album, New Lineup, 2026 Tour, Future Music
Godsmack released a new live album and concert film, Live at Mohegan Sun, documenting a sold-out October 26, 2024 performance at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The concert became the final show featuring longtime guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin, who retired from the band a few months later. Sully Erna and Robbie Merrill continued Godsmack with guitarist Sam Koltun and drummer Wade Murff. The band launched a spring 2026 headlining tour supported by Stone Temple Pilots and Dorothy, with dates beginning in early July and continuing into September. Erna described the live release as among the band’s best work, emphasizing that the footage was unedited and without auto-tune.
"What I can tell you is for sure, I feel like it's one of our best pieces of work we put out live. It being the last [show] with all four [classic] members made it that much more important and special and emotional. I love the way [ Live at Mohegan Sun] came out. I'm not always the biggest fan of recording live or filming live, but to know that this thing was unedited, there's no auto-tune... This is straight up"
