Illuminate, in collaboration with the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, will celebrate the Golden Gate Bandshell's 125th anniversary with the fifth season of free concerts starting March 1, 2025. With over 125 performances planned through mid-November, most shows will feature women-fronted bands. The Bandshell has hosted diverse genres and significant performers in its history, attracting nearly 1 million attendees across 600 shows over four years. Renovated in 2020, it continues to serve as a vital cultural venue in Golden Gate Park, which receives over 23 million visitors annually.
