
Reggae icon Shaggy appeared in Brooklyn on Tuesday to celebrate the release of his new album, “Lottery.” Fans traveled from near and far to gather around him, take pictures, talk with him, and listen to the latest sounds from the album. Shaggy continued to represent his home Jamaica while emphasizing that Brooklyn has deep personal significance. He said Brooklyn is where he perfected his craft and that returning feels nostalgic. The event also received official recognition when the Brooklyn Borough President declared May 19 as “Shaggy Day” in Brooklyn.
