Panda Express is celebrating National Orange Chicken Day with a pop-up called 'Orange Chicken Kitchen' in Midtown East from July 15 to 20. The event marks the return of the popular Hot Orange Chicken, known for its increased spice level with six times the crushed chilies. The pop-up offers a limited-edition menu with various Orange Chicken-inspired dishes, colorful decor, and giveaways. Customers will receive a bonus small entrée of either the OG or Hot Orange Chicken with orders between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
At the NYC pop-up, Panda's is turning its Third Avenue outpost into a love letter to its signature dish. Visitors can time-travel through Orange Chicken's greatest hits via a limited-edition menu, featuring everything from bone-in orange chicken wings to a bacon-laced throwback from 2014.
Anyone who orders a plate between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. during the pop-up gets a bonus small entrée of either the OG or Hot Orange Chicken, just for showing up and ordering like a fan.
