Gavin Newsom follows with 16%, while Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez receives 11%. Josh Shapiro and Kamala Harris each receive 10%, and Andy Beshear receives 9%. Eighteen percent of respondents remain undecided. The poll surveyed 432 likely Democratic voters on May 24 and 25. No candidates have formally announced 2028 campaigns yet. Buttigieg has offered hints about another run, including a response to Rev. Al Sharpton about saving a seat for lunch in 2028. Buttigieg has also toured the country with town halls and local Democratic appearances, including early primary states like New Hampshire.
