NYC just beat Las Vegas as America's most sinful city
A study ranked more than 200 U.S. cities using nightlife, adult entertainment, dating demographics, and public health data. New York City received the highest composite “sin score” of 8.85 out of 10, narrowly ahead of Phoenix and Miami. The ranking incorporated counts of bars, nightclubs, casinos, and adult stores, along with the share of single residents, excessive drinking rates, and sexually transmitted infection data. New York’s advantage came from its scale, including 3,822 bars and 422 nightclubs, plus 79 adult stores. Nearly half of residents were reported as single. Las Vegas placed seventh overall despite leading in casinos, scoring lower on other resident-focused metrics.

Researchers also noted that nearly half of New Yorkers are single, with 46.83% of men and 44.03% of women reporting unmarried status."
"Perhaps the most surprising finding wasn't who came in first-it was who didn't. Las Vegas landed in seventh place overall, behind New York, Phoenix, Miami, Houston, Dallas and New Orleans. Despite leading the nation in casinos, with 292 counted in the study, Vegas scored lower on several other metrics. Researchers argued that while Las Vegas is built for visitors looking to indulge, the ranking was designed to measure residents' habits and demographics."
"Chicago claimed the eighth spot, while Baltimore and Portland rounded out the top 10. Of course, whether being named America's most sinful city i"
