Troopers displayed respect and gratitude at the airport, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the contributions of veterans. Honor Flight Syracuse continues its efforts to ensure veterans from Central New York receive deserved acknowledgment for their service.
"It was an honor to stand in gratitude and respect for those who gave so much for our country," the agency stated.
The Honor Flight program transports America's veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit memorials built in their honor.
