The Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, will hold its annual fundraiser dinner at Fairmont Century Plaza on March 28. Drag icon RuPaul and actress Lisa Kudrow, known for her role in Friends and her work on The Comeback, will serve as special guests. Sex and the City writer-director Michael Patrick King will be honored with the HRC's Visibility Award for his contributions to spotlighting LGBTQ+ stories in entertainment. HRC President Kelley Robinson praised the honorees for expanding equality both on and off screen. King emphasized the importance of telling LGBTQ+ stories across all media and continuing to advocate for community rights amid ongoing challenges.
